Hi, I'm Brian.

Hi, I'm Brian, a psychotherapist, hypnotherapist, and clinical social worker with over 16 years of experience helping adults navigate emotional pain, reclaim resilience, and reconnect with their authentic selves. I earned my bachelor's degree in Clinical/Community Psychology from the University of Michigan–Flint, my Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, and I’m currently completing my Doctorate in Social Work at the University of Kentucky.

I began my career working in Detroit and Flint’s community mental health systems, where I gained a deep understanding of the systemic and personal barriers many people face when accessing care. I’ve also served as an advisor to the board of directors for Restoration Place, an anti-human trafficking non-profit organization—reflecting my longstanding commitment to social justice and honoring the dignity of every person.
Since 2012, I’ve maintained a private practice in Clarkston, Michigan, working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, complex trauma, burnout, life transitions and more. My approach is integrative and relational, grounded in evidence-based practices such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, parts work, energy psychology, and clinical hypnosis. At the heart of my work is a belief in the healing power of a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space—where you can not only process the past but also move forward with clarity and confidence.
